The Student Ministry invites you to start your Christmas season off right! Come and join us for some tasty home-cooking and a Christmas play that will definitely lift your spirit. Join us for our “Christmas Dinner Theater” on December 4th at either 4:30pm or 6:30pm. Dinner will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, bread &  desserts.

Childcare will be provided at no additional cost. All the proceeds from this event will go towards our upcoming mission trip to Denver, CO on spring break 2012.

You can buy your tickets online now or at the church beginning November 13th.

3rd Annual Dinner/Dessert Auction, Sunday, October 9th at 5:30pm

This coming Sunday the student ministry will be hosting the 3rd annual Dinner/Dessert auction. This event will be a fundraiser for our upcoming mission trip to Denver, CO on Spring Break 2012. We will serve a tasty dinner (donations appreciated) and then we will auction off some of the best desserts in the state. Also, during our fundraising event our project coordinator from Denver will be present to explain to us the work his group is doing in Denver and how our church will be partnering with them on spring break.

We encourage everyone that can to attend. We promise you will have fun and get to eat some good desserts as well!

It’s not too late for your kids to sign up!

FBCER began it’s vacation Bible school this morning, but it is not too late to bring your kids for a week of fun and learning about Jesus. We will be meeting thru Friday, July 1st from 8:30a til noon.  You can register online, or at the door in the morning.  Don’t miss this opportunity to get your children to VBS where they can be exposed to the truth of God’s word and hear the message of Jesus Christ.

June 26 from 6 to 8 pm!!

This Sunday night from 6-8pm will be the official kickoff of our VBS 2011, “The BIG APPLE ADVENTURE”!  The party will be a great time for you to register your kids and enjoy inflatables, carnival games & prizes, grab some food, and have a great time.  The party will be held on the lot South of the Youth Center located on the corner of Watts and Rock Island.  Come join us for a good time, even if you have already registered online.

This event will kickoff VBS which will start Monday morning, June 27th at 8:30 am.

FBCER will begin registration for 1st Kids on Wedneday night, August 11th at 6:00pm.  1st Kids is a ministry of FBCER for children, Pre-K to 5th grade.  It is geared to teach children Biblical truth and lead them to understand what it means to be followers of Christ. 

If you have a child in Pre-K to 5th grade, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to enroll them in this fun and educational ministry designed to teach them about Christ.  If you have questions call the church office.  FBC also has ministries for MS & HS students, as well as small children, and adults on Wednesday nights.
