We are always looking for ways to help the people of FBCER grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. That is our goal and mission. Knowing more about God and who he is helps us in our pursuit of knowing God relationally and experientially. God has revealed himself to us in the pages of his divine word and it contains a wealth of truth that leads us to commune with him.
In order to help us in our journey of discipleship we are excited to continue offering Coffee & Theology on Monday nights in February. In case you are wondering what it is, it is coffee and theology. For an hour each Monday evening we will have coffee and learn basic theology. Pastor Derek and Pastor Charlie are teaching this class based on Grudem’s book Christian Beliefs: twenty basics every Christian should know. The class is geared for anyone junior high age and up. Whether you are a new believer or a seasoned Christian, there will be something you can glean from this study on the basics of our beliefs from God’s word.
Semester two will begin on February 5th and will conclude on February 26th. The final semester will start in April 2018. I hope you will make every effort to join us for this discipleship opportunity. If you weren’t a part of semester one you can still be a part of this semester. Each week stands alone. If you are new to Coffee & Theology please sign-up below. If you came last semester, no need to sign-up again. We will see you on February 5!
