Charlie Blount (Lead Pastor)
Charlie is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the church. This is done publicly through the preaching of God’s word. Behind the scenes Charlie leads out with the church staff and other leadership.

Charlie has been with us at First Baptist since August 2008.  Charlie and his wife, Renee, have been married for 10 years and have a daughter Avery and twin boys Ethan and Evan. Prior to serving in El Reno, he served both as Pastor and Student Pastor of other SBC churches.

Charlie’s desire for FBC is that we would be a community of men and women who passionately pursue Christ and view Him as sufficient for every need in life.

Jerry Woodall (Associate Pastor — Administration & Education)
Jerry is responsible for our education ministry, working with committees and administrating the church’s facilities and finances.Jerry has been serving at First Baptist since March of 2001. Jerry is happily married to Barbara and they have three children and seven grandchildren. Jerry came fo FBC, El Reno from Port Arthur, Texas where he served in similar position.

Glen Chapman (Associate Pastor — Music & Technology)
Glen is responsible for leading and coordinating all of the church’s efforts in music and technology. He leads out on Sunday mornings and during rehearsal time throughout the week. He has been serving at First Baptist since September of 1990. Glen is married to Barbara and they have five children and several grandchildren. Glen has served in several other churches in Oklahoma and Texas before coming to First Baptist.

Tyler Kelley (Associate Pastor — Students)
Tyler is responsible for directing and leading our student ministry. He leads out weekly on Wednesday nights and with other events throughout the week and year.

Tyler joined the ministerial staff at First in April of 2009. Previously he has served at Brookwood Baptist Church in Oklahoma City as Student Ministries Intern and Associate Minister of Students. Tyler is a graduate of Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City.

He has a strong desire to see students be different than the world. He believes now is time for students to get serious about following Jesus. He also believes that great days are ahead for First Baptist Church, El Reno and he and Andi are excited to be a part of what God is doing!
