Research has shown that people are more likely to attend church during the Christmas season as opposed to any other time of the year. Research also shows that a high percentage of people would actually attend church if they were invited. As a church we have a great opportunity this Christmas season to remind people what Christmas is all about by simply inviting someone to church. A simple invite could lead to that person coming and becoming a follower of Jesus.

Who could you invite? Is there people in your life that are not connected with Jesus or His Church? If so, take the time and effort to invite them to attend with you during the month of December. Pastor Charlie will be preaching a series of messages discussing what God has brought us through Jesus.

Another  opportunity for you to invite someone to church is this Saturday, December 4th. Our church will be canvassing El Reno with door hangers inviting people to join us at FBCER this Christmas season. It will only require about an hour of your time and there will be donuts, juice and coffee provided. If you can help us with this event please join us this Saturday, December 4th at 9:00am.

The prayer and hope of the staff is that this Christmas season the people of FBCER would make Jesus a priority.That even with all the hustle and bustle of Christmas we would all take time to stop and remember the birth of Christ and what that means to us.
