Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and as with Mother’s Day we would like to have a time in our service called “Family Commitment”.  This has previously been known here at FBCER as baby dedication or parent dedication.  We as a staff feel like this is a commitment to you, as a family, to raise your child up in the Lord but also for us, as a church family, to assist and encourage that commitment as well.  This is for any family that would like to commit their baby to the Lord.

This is a special celebration for parents to gather with family and friends, making a commitment to raise their child in a Christ-centered home, and for our church to make a commitment to support you as a family. During both the 9am & 10:30am Worship Services (whichever one you normally attend), you will have an opportunity, along with other families, to stand before the church and celebrate the gift of your child. There will be a specific time in the Worship Service when parents make a public commitment before the congregation and then the people of FBCER commit to support these parents as they raise their children to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.
