Next Gen

FBCER believes that ministering to the next generation is one of the essential elements of our church. Majority of people who follow Christ today made that decision before the age of 18. Because of that fact, FBCER puts a lot of resources and energy into helping the next generation know Christ.

The Bible teaches that is primarily the responsibility of the parent(s) to disciple their children. The goal of our Next Gen Ministry isn’t to make disciples, but rather partner with the parent(s) as they disciple their children.

On Sunday mornings we have age graded small groups for everyone person newly born to those about to graduate high school. Check them out here. Each of these small groups focus on helping the next gen know and apply the truth of God’s word to their lives.

On Wednesday evenings we have three different worship experiences for the next gen at 6:30pm (when school is in session).

  • Seeds is an interactive worship experience for kid’s 3 years old to Kindergarten.
  • Planted+Rooted is exciting worship time with creative biblical teaching for 1st-6th graders.
  • Refuge is a weekly worship service for 7th-12th graders with worship from our student band and biblical messages from our next gen minster, Holden.

We also have a few large events and special activities through out the year like summer camp, retreats, conferences, etc.
