Over the last month we have been involved in our Connect>1 Evangelism Campaign. Throughout the month of September, we have been in the ‘equipping phase’ of the campaign through our small group ministry where we have been preparing ourselves with a healthy understanding of the gospel.

We have now entered the ‘engaging phase’ of the campaign where we are committing over the next month to be intentional about evangelism. Our goal is for each of us to be praying for three lost friends, inviting five friends to church, and seeking to share the gospel at least one time. Our prayer is that God would change the face of our community through our obedience to make disciples. We have been given his message of reconciliation and his spirit to be with us. We have everything we need to see people’s lives transformed.

I am asking you to join me and the pastors of this church in an intentional effort to reach people with this glorious message of hope. These are eternal matters. Souls hang in the balance. It is time for God’s people to get engaged.
