The New Testament speaks highly of church membership. In 1 Corinthians 12, the Apostle Paul likens the church to a body that consists of many members. He speaks of how each member plays an important role in the life of a church body (no matter how big or small that role may seem).
We believe that being a member of a church is much different than being a member of a country club or other affinity group. Being a member of a church is about submitting to God’s design for followers of Jesus: to be there for other believers and have them be there for you.
