One of the many reoccurring themes of scripture is the promise of peace. It seems a given of every NT author that peace will be present in the lives of believers. Jesus, the Prince of Peace (Is. 9:6), came to restore peace between us and God. Peace is a fruit of the spirit. Yet in light of these truths, it seems that peace is absent from so many of our lives. Starting the first Sunday in December we will begin to look at what the Bible has to say about peace and discover why true peace may be so absent from so many of our lives and how we can have peace through Jesus Christ.

I hope that you plan on joining us each week as we end 2016 and that you will bring someone with you as we discover how we can have peace on earth. Let me also ask you to familiarize yourself with all of our ministries and activities surrounding the Christmas season and plan on you and your family joining us as we celebrate the coming of our Savior.
