We are currently engaged in the Connect>1 Evangelism Campaign where we are challenging everyone in our body to be more intentional about evangelism. The reality is that disciples are called to make disciples and the heart of God is to see people come to faith in Jesus. The church is God’s plan for evangelizing the world and that starts right here where we live. In our efforts to be intentional about reaching people with the life-changing message of the gospel, we feel it is our responsibility to make sure we equip our body with the training necessary to engage people with the gospel. The truth is that we have not suffered as much with gospel presentations as we have gospel presenters, but we feel it is always important to make sure we are equipped and ready to share Christ with people.

This leads us to Sunday, October 2nd, where we will have a night of personal evangelism training. We will start at 5:30pm with a meal and then follow with a time of training in the area of personal evangelism. Whether you consider yourself an expert or a novice, this training is important for you to come to as we will be discussing and your input is important. We hope you take this campaign seriously and we are asking God to bless our effort through seeing people come to faith in Christ.
