The properties committee is allowing several pianos we are no longer using to be given away for a suggested donation of $200 each. If you desire one of these pianos, submit your name to the office by phone (262-5453) or by written note by close of business, 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2011.  A drawing for the numbered pianos will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2011, 10:00 AM.

Once the drawing is held, the removal of the piano becomes the responsibility of the drawing winner. Some of the pianos are on 2^nd and 3^rd floors of the education building and will require a “strong” moving crew. The pianos are offered “as is” and no guarantee is made as to condition.  At the least, piano tuning will probably be required to bring them into servicability. Some may require more repair. All pianos will have been inspected by a reputable piano technician and we will not distribute any piano which needs major repairs.

The pianos are Kohler & Campbell spinet pianos (circa 1960) in a white spackled finish. Each has a matching bench. These were manufactured for institutional use. For more information check with the church office.
