Every adult in our church that loves Jesus has the potential to make a difference in life of a young follower of Christ through the Prayer Mentor Initiative. If you are interested in joining this initiative read the following information below and submit your info with form at the bottom.

Why? Our students are living in a hostile world and living out your faith can be quite difficult. You praying for a student could play a huge part in growing their faith.

What? We are asking some of our adults to become prayer mentors to one student in our ministry. If you are a little frightened by middle school and high school students that’s ok. This will be an easy way for you to make a difference in the life of a student.

What We Expect:

1) Pray daily for your assigned student.

2) Commit to pray for your student until they graduate college or get married.

3) Simply introduce yourself to your student during a regular FBCER service and let them know you are their prayer mentor.

4) Encourage your student several times throughout the year with cards or notes that simply say “I’m still here and I’m still praying”.
