As I write this, I am coming off a time of training with Small Group Leadership who are passionate and ready to help people grow as disciples of Christ through our Small Group Ministry. I am thankful and excited about the men and women we have serving in this area of our church. Small groups are one of the primary ways that we walk in Biblical community with other believers in our pursuit of holiness and spiritual growth. As your Pastor, I strongly encourage you to find a way to connect in a small group. If you engage with the believers in your group and the word that is being presented and discussed, it will undeniably make a noticeable difference in your growth as a follower of Christ.

Sunday, September 10 will be Small Group Sunday.On this Sunday, we are asking everyone to make sure they are meeting with their small group while challenging everyone who is not currently attending a small group at FBCER to attend one that morning. This is your chance to take advantage of building discipleship relationships with other believers at FBCER. Our goal is for every member of FBCER to be involved in a discipleship relationship; small groups are one way for you to engage in this. We look forward to hearing stories of God working in your life through our small group ministry.
