Something for Everyone

August 11, 2016

In just two weeks, Wednesday nights at FBCER will be back in full swing and there is something for everyone in your family. We strive to offer something for every age that will aid you in becoming a deeper disciple of Jesus Christ. Regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, there is something for you. It kicks off with a meal at 5:30pm followed by adult small groups and next generation ministries meeting at 6:30pm.  Our hope is that Wednesday nights at FBCER will become a regular part of your family’s weekly routine.

For Kids, Pre-K thru 6th grade, we offer Planted and Rooted. Both of these ministries meet at the main church campus. They are led by Family Pastor Tyler Kelley, and each week offers a creative, interactive time for your kids to know God through worship and Bible study in a way geared just for them. I get the privilege of working with Pastor Tyler each week and know firsthand the fun we have while learning about God and his plan for our lives. Through a combination of small group settings and large group worship times, Wednesday nights are an excellent time for your kids to be both introduced to what a relationship with Jesus looks like and to help the young believer grow.

For 7-12th grade students, we offer Refuge. Refuge meets downtown at our Youth Annex building and is led by Student Pastor Derek McCarver. Refuge offers a safe place for students to grow in their faith while dealing with real questions that they may have about God and the Bible. The atmosphere is energetic and fun while taking God and His word seriously. Your student will be encouraged and challenged every week through times of worship and teaching.

For adults we have several small groups that meet for the purpose of discipleship. There are groups for men and ladies, and also a co-ed prayer group that meets to intercede for the body. We hope that you find time to join us where you can connect with other believers and grow in your faith. This is a great place for you to not only grow but to develop meaningful relationships within the body.

I hope you join us on August 24th as we kick off our Wednesday night ministries at FBCER. I assure you, it will be worth the time you invest.

For His glory and your joy,

Pastor Charlie
