Sunday Night Theology
March 14, 2022
Everyone’s a theologian because everyone has thoughts about God. The question is, are you a good theologian or a bad theologian? As we follow Jesus, we are called to grow in our knowledge of the truth so that we might love God and others more. Do you believe that? Can theology really help increase our love for God and each other? We believe it can. That’s why we’ve incorporated a theology class into our church rhythm. A class designed to help us both grow in and live out the truth of God.
This class meets monthly on the second Sunday of each month at 5:00 pm, in room 201. Each month we focus on a doctrine of Scripture and discuss its relevance to our church and daily lives. Before coming to each class, you’re asked to read a short reading assignment (about 30 pages). Then in the class, after a brief teaching, we discuss the practical value of the doctrine for our church, lives, and world.
If you are interested in participating in this class, you can sign up HERE or by contacting the church office. Currently, all reading assignments for the class are from the book Bible Doctrine by Wayne Grudem. Copies of the book can be purchased in the church office for $20.
