As summer is quickly coming to an end and you are preparing your children for a new school year we wanted to take some time to let you know everything we will have to offer children & students on Wednesday nights at FBCER.

First Kids (for Pre-k thru 4^th grade) First Kids is designed for our Pre-K thru 4^th grade children that focuses on getting them into God’s word. First Kids begins at 5:45pm and ends at 7pm. New this year: All pre-k thru 4^th graders will gather in the west end of the fellowship hall for an opening session with our Children’s Minister, Wes. Children can begin gathering there at 5:30pm.

Rooted (for 5^th & 6^th grade) We are happy to introduce a new Wednesday night experience this year that is designed specifically for our 5^th & 6^th graders. Rooted is designed to serve as a way for us to prepare and transition students from Children’s Ministry to Student Ministry.  Rooted will be held at the Youth Center and will be from 6-7pm with the doors opening at 5:30pm.

REFUGE (for 7^th-12^th grade) REFUGE is designed specifically for our 7^th-12^th graders and consists of a time of worship, biblical teaching and of course some fun. Beginning this year, 7^th-12^th grade will meet together in newly remodeled Youth Annex. REFUGE begins at 6pm and ends at 7pm with the doors opening at 5:30.

Parents, we have a Mid-Week Service with Pastor Charlie in the Ministry Center at 6:00 pm or a Ladies’ Group that will begin on August 22^nd from 6pm to 7pm. The Ladies’ Group has many mission projects and their 1^st special guest will be Jamie Todd with special tips on couponing.

On August 15^th at 6pm we will have a parent/child meeting and time of orientation. This meeting is required for all children that want to be a part of First Kids and Rooted.  All three of these ministries will begin meeting on Wednesday on August 22.
